free crochet pattern

Many people have told me that they would just love to be able to crochet, but they feel it would be too hard for them to learn. The methods for forming the stitches and holding the hook and yarn remain the same; you simply use your left instead of right hand.

But, as crochet enthusiasts will also tell you, this opens the possibility of getting in completely over your head. Crocheting relieves stress and muscle tensions after a hard day at the office as crocheting easily takes your mind off from work and draws you deeper into a solitary hobby where you can collect your thoughts as you let your fingers and the crochet hook do their work. If you've been following along, you will know that I never recommend starting a project that is too advanced when you are a beginner.

If looking at diagrams on the Internet, keep a mirror next to your monitor. Threading a large-eyed needle with the loose strings after finishing a project and weaving the loose strings into the project are easier than using the hook. Acrylics are popular and easy to work with and wash.

Empty prescription bottles can be very handy for keeping smaller crochet tools like row counters, beads, and yarn needles. Crochet is an interesting hobby.
